Here's a treat for Harryhausen fans which The Monster stumbled across - a book entitled 'Ray Harryhausen: An Animated Life'. 304 pages of Harryhausen's words, photos and sketches, detailing his career.

The Wolf Man is coming...

The Monster is very excited about the prospect of a remake of Univeral's 'The Wolf Man'. Not only is it one of his favourite Universal monster movies, but early signs are that the film is going to be a far less frivolous homage to the classic Universal Monster Movies than Stephen Sommers' 'Van Helsing' was.

The podcasting phenomenon has really hit its stride over the past year, and the number of horror and sci-fi related podcasts can be quite bewildering for the uninitiated, or indeed anyone trying to keep up with what's out there.
